Tidying Up
After having the same old template for nearly 4 years, coupled with the fact that a lot of my add-on scripts are broken, I've decided to give the old Blog a bit of a makeover.
The design template I'm currently using is only temporary (one of Blogger's default ones), so bear with me while I tidy up :-)

Vista - first impressions
Vista - first impressions
Well, apart from the fact that it failed to detect my onboard network card (I had to download drivers after much Googling - yay for my wireless LAN) or my onboard sound card (later fixed via Windows Update), Vista doesn't seem to bad (for Microsoft).
Still prefer my Linux setup though.

More Newsreader Coding
After much segfaulting and cursing, I managed to get a GtkEmbedMoz control working (via gecko-sharp). I also gave the rest of the UI a bit of an overhaul. Still not complete by a long way, but its becoming slightly more useful.

Writing the news
I got fed up with the my newsreader using up way too much CPU time (when updating feeds and when marking them as read), so I hacked together something very basic on my lunchbreak. I'll expand upon it later...
